Name of campaign: The Butterfly Effect Does Not Fade

Time period: 30 May – 10 June 2026 (12 days)

Platforms: Facebook and Instagram

Description: “The Butterfly Effect Does Not Fade” (أثر الفراشة لا يزول) campaign highlighted women’s leadership and agency during times of crisis in Lebanon. The campaign challenged the dominant narrative that portrays women in conflict and crisis primarily as passive victims in need of protection. Through storytelling, community voices, and real-life examples, it presented women as leaders, organisers, caregivers, volunteers, and decision-makers whose contributions sustain communities during crises. Its key messages were that it is time to see women differently during crises, that women are not simply surviving crises but leading and contributing every day, and that their efforts and voices make a difference.

Results: The campaign achieved strong digital visibility and audience interaction, reaching approximately 490,000 users across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and generating more than 4,000 engagements. The results demonstrate effective outreach and audience interest, with some content achieving particularly high levels of reach and visibility. Qualitatively, the campaign received very positive feedback from different stakeholders, who appreciated both the content and its messaging. It also contributed to expanding the organisation’s online presence by introducing its accounts to new audiences and attracting new supporters interested in its work and causes.
